Jeff Zehr joined Church Mutual in 2024, bringing nearly 25 years of underwriting leadership experience and success to the organization. A proven leader, Zehr has served as vice president - commercial segment leader for a major, national insurance carrier. Prior to his service there, Jeff worked for two other multinational carriers.
Zehr holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and political science from Illinois Wesleyan University and a Master of Business Administration degree from DePaul University’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business. He also earned the designation of Associate in Fidelity and Surety Bonding (AFSB).
Widely recognized for his industry expertise, Zehr is a frequent presenter at national events and forums. Beyond his executive responsibilities, Jeff also served as a mentorship leader, a board adviser for the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation and an Ambassador Committee member for the Steppenwolf Theater in Chicago.
